MSF COVID-19

This is the official APP of Médecins Sans Frontières for health professionals, geriatric specialists and personnel responsible for the care of the elderly, as well as for civil and health authorities, and coordination platforms for response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Professionals who are on the front line need tools that allow them to carry out their work in the right conditions and adapted to the COVID-19 context.

This APP seeks to provide easy and intuitive documentation, training and access to webinars on various topics related to COVID-19.

 The content is currently available in Spanish and Portuguese. Other languages ​​will be available soon. The contents of this APP are constantly evolving and are regularly updated.

The topics on which you will find information are:

Epidemiology, diagnosis and management of patients - information on tests, tabs adapted to geriatric patient care.

Prevention and control of infection: personal protective equipment, hygiene and disinfection, establishment of circuits, transfer of patients.

Information, education and communication: use of the mask, maintenance of physical distance, correct hand washing.

 Mental health and psychosocial support: giving bad news, self-care guidelines.

Organization of services and strategy: opening of hospital extensions, comfort pavilions, response models.

It also includes an agenda for upcoming online training, access to past training and training videos, and access to discussion forums.
